A DC tape clip is a device used to support or secure conductor tapes to a structure or building during earthing or electrical applications. They are mounted at regular intervals along the structure in either a horizontal or vertical direction, depending on the surface of the building. DC tape clips are rigid and can withstand mechanical and lightning stresses, as well as thermal expansion and contraction of conductor tapes. DC tape clips can be made from a variety of materials, including:
